Cancellation Policies

Private Lessons:

At Leonard Voice Studio, we understand that it is sometimes necessary to reschedule or cancel lessons due to unforeseen circumstances. If you need to reschedule or change to Zoom (online), please call or text 0402 363 460, or email leonardvoicestudio@gmail.com more than 24 hours before the lesson or your lesson may be forfeited.

Make-up lessons will be available in the holidays on set dates. Please advise if you would like to reschedule for a make-up lesson at the time of cancellation.

The following applies to cancelled lessons:

·       If you cancel a lesson on the day, a 100% cancellation fee will apply (lesson forfeited)

·       If you fail to attend without notification, a 100% cancellation fee will apply (lesson forfeited)

·       If you are unable to or do not reschedule a lesson cancelled 24 hours before the lesson time, the lesson will be forfeited.

If the teacher cancels the lesson due to illness or other circumstances, it is the teacher’s responsibility to reschedule or organise a make-up lesson. If rescheduling is not possible and you have paid full-term, the owed lesson cost from a teacher’s absence will be carried over to your invoice for the next term or refunded.

Lesson costs from student absences will not be carried over to your invoice for the next term or refunded, unless in extreme circumstances and at the teacher’s discretion.

Group Programs:

• Group programs must be paid for in full

• No refund will be provided for any missed classes.

• No make-up lessons will be provided for any missed classes.

Speech Therapy Sessions:

At Leonard Voice Studio, we understand that it is sometimes necessary to reschedule or cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances. If you need to reschedule, cancel or change to Telehealth (Zoom), please call or text 0402 363 460, or email leonardvoicestudio@gmail.com more than 24 hours before the session to avoid a cancellation fee.

The following applies to cancelled session:

• Cancellations less than 24 hours before the time of your appointment incur a 50% cancellation fee.

• Cancellations less than 12 hours before the time of your appointment incur a 100% cancellation fee.

• Failure to attend an appointment without providing prior notice incurs a 100% cancellation fee.

If you are unable to attend a session, it is your responsibility to inform the speech pathologist in advance so that the time can be made available to others. You will receive a reminder email 2 business days prior to your scheduled appointment. 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of appointments. Cancellation fees of the full booked appointment will apply without adequate notice of non-attendance.
